With Ice Cream Sandwich, Sony will offer an array of new widgets and also add features like Face Unlock. The device will be available in White and Black and will be priced south of Rs 20,000.

Sony is also launching the Xperia Go in India later this month, which also went up for pre-order on Home Shop 18 yesterday. The Smart Watch works in a range of 10 meters over Bluetooth with a compatible Xperia phone and it need the phone to get the time synced, but after that one can disconnect the Bluetooth connection to use it like a regular watch, however it will need Bluetooth for all the smart features.

Notably, as smartphones don’t support dual channel Bluetooth, one cannot use the Bluetooth module for anything else while the phone is paired to the Smart Watch. The Smart Watch will be priced at Rs 6,299.

Furthermore, Sony will also bring the Xperia Ion to India in August. The device sports will sport a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S3 processor, a 12-megapixel camera and will feature a 4.55-inch 720p display.
